Courtois, one of the best goalkeepers in the world, has not play on an international stage since June 2023, initially struggling with a torn ACL and missing the first eight months of the season, but the 32-year-old has since fallen out with Tedesco over the club’s refusal to hand him the captain’s armband, meaning he was not involve at Euro 2024 this summer.
